This cat is trying too hard. There are very few practical uses for monocles nowadays. Unless burning ants on your driveway is your hobby.

Ah, but the monocle and bow tie are quite in style these days among the upper-class cats.
A bowler hat, however, would be much better suited for the situation than the silly top hat. And that moustache.... Bleh.

I agree very much so, Top hats are for formal occasions ONLY. And a moustache? Atop another moustache? Absurd!

P.S. I can only assume that those letters are initials, along the lines of James Johnstone-Harper perhaps? If you are of the female persuasion, please disregard the name. Or you may wish to spell James with the feminine ender 'E' to add a little exoticism.

Sophisticat looks very intelligent indeed! And with his picture on the web, we can all enlighten ourselves with his smart look.
He's getting more famous as we speak, his picture has now succesfully reached Belgium! I will have my master send this to all my friend cats. But for now, I will enjoy her stroking me and I will purr with grrreat wisdom... purr...
